I have had fruitcakes that were desirable and happy to get! You can make them with the highest quality ingredients with the best recipe and they’re great
The left told me that they own all the gay people, so I decided to find out if that was true.
I have a feeling it could be an interesting trip.
Almonds but nut Growers pronounce it Amond. They take it really seriously too. So I asked them "What about the Wanuts? Guy looks me straight in the eye and says That's not funny." I replied "Especially to a guy with no sense of humor." They were serious as a heart attack. "That's not funny." No it's funny and if you had a sense of humor and you got a load of yourself you'd laugh to death. Hahaha
This was Letterman-esque.
Made me laughed:thanks
This brings back one of my most favorite memories. Thank you for posting it.
Max brought me here. 👍
The current crop of late night Leftist propaganda shows, replete with scores of writers, can't come up with anything remotely as funny. It firstly requires a sense of humor, which Wokesters lack.
Boy this sure doesn't hold up over time.
Why do you say that??
So funny 😅
I haven't seen this since it originally aired - hilar!
I remember when this aired and it's still as funny as ever!!!
Zsa zsa went rodney king on him
classic
Reminds me of Will Smith. Hollywood's Elite and entitled. They'll have the entitlement syndrome.
This is insanely funny I actually was expecting the real clip
What’s funny is if this was a bit on late night today all the morons would complain how it’s “too political” because they don’t realize how these shows have always had shit about politics
Joan Rivers is still the queen of head slaps. But after witnessing the Will Smith/Chris Rock thing, I'll re-arrange my top 10.
Jesus Christ of all the places I’ve been seeing that talked about I didn’t expect it on this random Carson clip I clicked on lmao
Zsa zsa makes me happy I Jewish.
She never identified with the Jews
@@maxvolokitin4573 because of antisemitism in Europe. Her y Eva came here first. Many Jews took on Irish last names as a cover. In the 30s y 40s antisemitism was as bad as it is today. Thou for a small period of time it laid dormant.
While she was ethnically a Jew, she was a Catholic in her religion.
Yuck!
@@vanessapierce231 If someone gets kicked out from nearly every drinking establishment in a city, do you think it is more likely the bars that are to blame, or quite possibly the person being kicked out is to blame for their actions/behavior in those bars?! _109 countries!_
I love fruit cake!!!! Always eating it.
Fruitcakes make great doorstops.
But, I like fruitcake.
Great bit🤣
As one of the few people in the free world who loves fruitcake, I found it extremely funny! 😁😅😂🤣 Great video!!!👍👍👍 Bravo!!! 👏👏👏👏
My mom told me about how my great-grandmother used to make fruitcakes-good fruitcakes-each Christmas when she was still alive and in good health. She would start on it in the summer and put rum in it every so often so that it'd ready in time for December.
Well, they do say rum is a good preservative. 😉

Johnny Carson 23/10/25 23/01/05
Johnny Carson is the best of the best!!❤️
Absolutely hilarious! No wonder I stayed up to watch Johnny and Ed when I should've been asleep.
My mom liked fruitcake
I love a good piece of fruit cake
This is so ridiculous it's hilarious.
Note that this was when Letterman's show had become very popular and was doing all sorts of crazy outdoor stunts which Carson never had done. There was a period when Carson tried doing similar things in a false belief that he needed to spruce up his show and do new oddball kind of stuff. This was from that period.
There's more here than meets the eys. This is one of 13 comedy sketches that were produced outside of the studio by my production company. The first was during the Writers Strike of 1988. Johnny came back - without writers - about 3 months into the strike. He explained that he supported the Writers Guild but that his "behind the scenes people - stage hands, secretaries, etc., would in danger of losing their homes, as they could never make up the money they were losing. One night, his staff produced a weak sketch that bombed. Afterwards, he said, "if anybody out there has anything better than this. send me a tape. My videographer shot the footage for a sketch that I wrote, and we sent it to the show. I got a call from Jeff Sotzing, Johnny's nephew an associate producer of the show, who said, "Johnny loved the sketch. It's going to run tomorrow night. Do you have any other ideas? That was the beginning of a relationship that ran through Johnny's final show in 1992. Two of the sketches we produced made the Anniversary Show - meaning that they were among Johnny's favorites of the year.
@@SanibelFilmSchool Thanks for filling in the missing back story. Fascinating! Nevertheless my comment stands re other efforts that Carson made such as taking his camera over to other sound stages, outdoors, etc.
Americans hate fruitcake because they don't know how to make it. My Canadian grandmother makes wonderful fruitcake that's exceptionally good. It takes several ingredients and lots of stirring before baking. It's not meant to be eaten fresh, aged is better. Commercially made American fruitcake sucks and always will, they go cheap on the ingredients. It's all about profit vs making a quality product.
My Great Grandmother was from Barcelona, Spain. And she turned me onto fruitcake. I still have her recipe not only in my head, but in my heart. I still make it to this day.
Pretty obvious self defense.
I'm Jewish y a Jewish doctor told me I ruthless. Educated Jewish woman are considered dangerous. Zas zsa was a Hungarian born Jew.
@@vanessapierce231why are you telling me? Is it because one of the translations of my surname is Rabbi in Hungarian? Maybe you are a dangerous Jew Israel is now accused of genocide so are you bragging? Are you Hungarian though? So random.
A fresh Corsicana, Texas fruitcake is easy to slice and very enjoyable......old fruitcakes make great doorstops!!!
She gave him a Zaza
Fruit cake is a diabetic's nightmare. One slice and you slip into a diabetic coma.
My Family Fruitcake Recipe: Pour a tall glass of rum. Make a yellow cake. Have another tall glass of rum. Sprinkle cake with bits of edible, colored things like M&Ms for a festive appearance. Have another tall glass of rum. Take a nap. Eat cake and go to bed.
That's the best recipe yet. Well done
lmao
I love fruitcake.
